Most of our products are custom made to order and are shipped via UPS within 5-15 business days (this lead time is subject to change during our peak season March – August, and during holiday weeks). It may take up to 3-5 business days processing time prior to shipment. If you select an expedited shipping method, please note that this will not reduce the processing time before the order is shipped.
A shipping confirmation email (with tracking numbers) will typically be sent when your order ships.
Most orders will be shipped UPS ground, however we do offer expedited shipping services, depending on your location.
Business days are Monday-Friday; Holidays, Saturday and Sunday are not included in shipping days.
Shipping changes after the order is shipped, such as intercepts, address change, and will call pick-up may be subject to a $10 Service fee per shipment (this is simply passing along the fee billed to us by the carrier to make the change when in-transit).

To help determine this on your own, locate your boats HIN (HULL Identification Number). The HIN is 12 characters long and is composed of multiple sections depending on the format being used. HinDecoder.com has a proprietary technology that enables you to decode the information contained in the HIN or CIN. Commonly, boat manufacturers added additional characters to the HIN but separated from the HIN by a hyphen.
The HIN is normally located in several locations on a boat, but the most common places are:
WE MUST HEAR FROM YOU WITHIN 24 HOURS OF PLACING AN ORDER TO MAKE ANY CHANGES! Once an order has entered our production schedule, we’ve already begun the item customization process and all changes are subject to a 30% restock, change or cancellation fee from this point further. Our product patterns are custom patterns and are boat specific, designed to fit stock OEM boats, any changes that have been made to your boat, may prohibit and impact the quality of fit. Changes that may impact the fit: changes to the size of trolling motor, motor size, kicker motor, downriggers, rod holders, fish finders, other gunnel or bow mounted fishing equipment. If you are not sure how your boat came standard, you will want to contact customer service of the manufacture of your boat. We cannot guarantee the fit over anything other than the standard OE boats.
If an item arrives visibly damaged, please contact Dowco Customer Service immediately. Claims are handled through the shipping carrier, but Dowco will assist the customer with these claims to the best of its ability.

Refunds are handled direct with our customer service team, no refunds will be accepted for a product that is not in its original state, unused and in its original packaging. All purchases that qualify for a refund will be credited to the same payment method that was charged in the original purchase. Dowco is dedicated to providing its customers the best possible products and services available. If you are not satisfied with your boat cover or accessory purchase, you may return it for an exchange or refund within 30 days of your purchase minus a 30% restocking fee. Please allow 2-3 weeks for processing.
Customer is responsible for all back and forth shipping and brokerage charges for returns or exchanges. Return & Refund Policy.
ALL orders that are returned, cancelled or changed after 24 hours will receive a 30% restock fee, and return shipping fees back to Dowco. No returns are accepted more 30 days from the date the order ships.
While Dowco will assist international customers with warranty claims, items may need to be shipped to the U.S. for inspection or repair. The customer will be responsible for shipping costs to Dowco.
